2001 Omega Seamaster Professional Ref. 2531.80.00 ‘Bond’ with Papers

$5,100.00

The Omega Seamaster Professional 300M arrived in 1993 as one of the most consequential product placements in watchmaking history. When Pierce Brosnan strapped one on in GoldenEye, it became the watch the world wanted overnight — and unlike most celebrity associations, the Seamaster earned its place on merit. It was a genuinely capable dive watch: 300 meters water resistance, helium escape valve, Co-Axial escapement in later references, and a wave-pattern dial that balanced technical purpose with unmistakable visual identity. The reference 2531.80.00, with its blue wave dial and matching blue aluminium bezel insert, is the configuration that defined the Bond era — produced through the late 1990s and into the early 2000s, and now firmly established as the reference collectors reach for when they want the Seamaster at its most iconic. Examples in genuinely unworn condition with matching paperwork are scarcer than the market suggests; most were bought, worn, and enjoyed as exactly the everyday watches they were designed to be.

Category:

This one wasn’t. The condition of this example is as close to new as a 2001 watch can present — only the faintest signs of handling, nothing more. The case back retains its original red seal, unopened, the most unambiguous evidence a Seamaster can offer that the movement has never been accessed. The complete paperwork package is intact and fully matching: wallet, booklets, manuals, serialized hang tag, and guarantee card, all matching.
